I'm having a hard time concentrating because there is this rumbling sound in my ear from water, warping all sounds that come my way. It's really distracting. I'll try my best to get out coherent sentences.

So the other day, I decided that I am going to make "summer vacation", or "summer holiday", into an actual vacation, even if I have to stay here. I am going to Ohio to visit family next week, and they have a boat, so that should be fun...I love water sports.

It's just been a long time since I've had a free summer, without work or school or something. So, I'm going to spend a lot of time relaxing, reading, playing fake guitar, playing >.< fake WoW (I have a level 61 blood elf paladin now!), and swimming. Normally, I HATE summer because being hot is so freaking uncomfortable, but I think I'm going to make the best of it this time. I turn twenty in August, so I have a few short months of being a teenager, and having a really good excuse to be irresponsible, left. I'm poor as hell, but I think we have enough for rent and utilities, so it should be okay.

I came up with a theory yesterday that maybe the reason I feel so relaxed and like I should be at the beach is because I've had Hotel California by the Eagles stuck in my head, looping every few minutes. Then, I looked up the lyrics, and realized, much too late considering how classic the song is, that it is more or less a metaphor for a road trip ending up in Hell.
